General Surface Preparation
New and Unvarnished: Ensure surface is dry and cleaned free of all dust, dirt, oil, grease and other debris. Fill all holes, cracks and crevices etc. with a proprietary wood filler. Rub down with abrasive paper to obtain a smooth, firm surface.
Previously Varnished: Remove any loose, flaking, cracking, crazing, peeling, semi-adherent varnish, dirt, dust, oil, grease and other debris. Fill all holes, cracks, crevices etc. with a proprietary wood filler. Rub down with abrasive paper to obtain a smooth, firm surface.
Directions for Use
:
New and Unvarnished:
(a) Full exposure to direct sunlight – Apply 1st coat Kaleidoscope Oil Varnish Stain, thinned 25%.
(b) No exposure to direct sunlight – An alternative to (a) above, apply 1 coat Kaleidoscope N.C. Sanding Sealer.
(c) Follow (a) or (b) with 2 full coats of Kaleidoscope oil Varnish Stain.
Previously Varnished:
On bare worn areas, apply 1 or 2 coats Kaleidoscope Oil
Varnish Stain.
Application: Brush or spray.
Thin up to 10% for spraying
