Tobago’s largest retail hardware & home center conveniently located on Wilson Road in Scarborough. We are a proud family-owned business and member of the Do It Best Corporation which ensures our lumber, hardware, building materials and products are of the best quality.
History
Almandoz has been a household name for over 40 years in Tobago. Almandoz Hardware Ltd is a third-generation company which had humble beginnings as paint and vinyl shop at Campbell building uptown Scarborough in 1999. With the support of our founder the late Humphrey Almandoz we were able to expand to our current location at Wilson Road.
In 2010 we aligned ourselves with Do It Best Corp in order to expand our business and to give our customers the opportunity to have the ultimate shopping experience. Founded in 1945, Do it Best is the only US-based, member-owned comprehensive and fully integrated hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative in the home improvement industry.
Future
The future is now. Our online store makes available our entire inventory for convenient and safe shopping in the midst of our changed circumstances, in what the world is calling ‘the new normal’. Customers have access to almost 10,000 products in a wide range of categories from foundation to finish, with delivery, in our case, to Tobago and Trinidad!
