General Surface Preparation
New and Unpainted: Ensure surface is dry and cleaned free of all dust, dirt, oil, grease and other debris.
Galvanised Iron: Allow to “weather” for at least 6 months.
Previously Painted: Remove any loose, flaking, peeling, semi-adherent paint or rust to obtain a clean, firm, sound surface.
Directions for Use
New and Unpainted: Apply 1 coat Kaleidoscope Etch Primer to Galvanised Iron (“weathered” less than 6 months). (Aluminium or Aluzinc)
Then apply 2 coats of Kaleidoscope Anticorrosive Roof Paint.
Previously Painted: To bare metal areas, apply 1 coat Kaleidoscope Etch Primer followed by 1 coat Kaleidoscope Anticorrosive Roof Paint. Then over the entire surface apply 1 or 2 coats Kaleidoscope Anticorrosive Roof Paint.
Application: Brush, roller or spray. Thin up to 10% for spraying.
